In trading, the terms bullish and bearish describe market expectations.





🐂 Bullish

Bullish means expecting prices to rise.

A trader who is bullish believes the market or a specific asset will increase in value.

Example:
If you expect EUR/USD to go up, you are bullish on EUR/USD.




🐻 Bearish

Bearish means expecting prices to fall.

A trader who is bearish believes the market or a specific asset will decrease in value.

Example:
If you expect gold prices to drop, you are bearish on gold.

  • 🐂 Bull pushes horns up → Market up

  • 🐻 Bear swipes paws down → Market down
